Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. was founded on January 5, 1911 on the campus of Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana.
The Kappas takeover Miami as the fraternity’s Southern Province and South Florida Chapters host their Fifth Annual National Founders’ Day Celebration in Miami. This is the 99th year of the organization. Their centennial celebration will be held in Bloomington, Indiana in 2011.
