Sasha Cohen announced her return to skating land

Sasha Cohen’s courageous return to skating continued Saturday in Spokane, Wash., with a fourth place showing at the 2010 U.S. Championships.
“It was so special to come back and skate again,” said Sasha, who made her season debut in Spokane because an injury forced her to withdraw from her two fall international events. “There wasn’t sadness and wasn’t regrets. I’m just really proud to be here, really proud to skate again.”

Sasha was second in the short program but fell on the triple flip in the free skate, bringing her to a fourth place finish overall.

“I wanted to challenge myself and compete again, and I’m so glad I did,” the three-time World medalist said. “The U.S. girls are so young, so exciting. It’s really fun to watch them.”

Sasha is an alternate for the 2010 U.S. Olympic team and the 2010 World Championship team. She’s also touring the country full time with Stars on Ice later this spring. Source(sashacohen.com)
