Cablevision / Optimum Online customers have been seeing a menacing message scrolling across the bottom of their television screens, saying that they may be losing Food Network and HGTV at midnight tonight. They provided a phone number, and suggested we all call it immediately to prevent this from happening.
All the cooking shows will be moved to FLN which will become Cooking – you will lose that one, too.
Cablevision is currently running a “we’re sorry” message on Food Network and HGTV, stating that Scripps refused to continue broadcasting while the two companies continued negotiations.

People complain when their cable bill goes up….it goes up when networks increase their price to carry the programs. Stop blaming the cable companies…they only carry the channel..and they try to control the cost to protect the consumer….which is you!!
