Guess what ? It’s officially the first day of winter, and while it looks like it’s going to be nice today, change is in the air.
Winter arrives today at 12:47 p.m. today, the time at which the Earth’s axial tilt is farthest away from the sun.
On the bright side (literally), each day after the solstice gets longer, with more sunshine as the Earth tilts closer to the sun.
A winter storm is coming our way, which means there’s rain and snow in the forecast for tomorrow.
