Casey Johnson, the heiress to the Johnson & Johnson fortune who recently made tabloid headlines with a purported engagement to reality star Tila Tequila, has died at age 30.
Her father — who just days ago was celebrating his team’s incredible journey to the NFL playoffs — devoted millions of his fortune to diabetes research. He apparently took his little girl’s wayward turn especially hard.
It is unclear how long Johnson may have been dead by the time authorities arrived. Internet speculation has been that the heiress had been dead for several days before her body was discovered.
the final cause of death will be determined by coroner’s officials, who will seek toxicology tests. Results of those tests could take six weeks to obtain.
