Black Friday 2009 sales at Walmart can’t be beat. Although many try to make their 2009 Black Friday sales better than Walmart, few – if any – are successful. Walmart’s biggest competitors of the season include Best Buy, Target, and Toys R Us. Walmart has recently tried to undercut Toys R Us by making toys a “loss leader” at their retail locations. Toys R Us is fighting Walmart back by offering unique services and exclusive items.
Best Buy is battling Walmart for the best prices on TVs and electronics during Black Friday 2009 sales. Although Best Buy has some fabulous sales, Walmart’s prices are typically lower. Some argue that the quality of goods at Walmart isn’t as good as those offered by Best Buy, while others only care about the bottom line. The 50″ Sanyo HDTV for $598 is an amazing deal. I own a Sanyo TV and no matter what people say, I still think it’s a decent brand.
The Black Friday 2009 Sales at Walmart include deals on discounted toys and apparel, houseware, tools, and small appliances. No where else is offering $59 TomToms, $78 Blu-Ray players and many of the other amazing deals.
Shopping the Black Friday 2009 Sales for Walmart won’t be a breeze. Be braced for crowds, but rest assured that Walmart has taken steps to ensure safety after last year’s trampling death of a temp worker Black Friday morning.
