Brazil will take on Portugal in 2010 World Cup to be held in South Africa in one of the toughest draws of the tournament. The draw for the 2010 FIFA World Cup was held Friday in Cape Town who has prepared the ground for one of the event’s most popular sport on the planet.
Brazil and Portugal, which were placed in Group G will also deal with Ivory Coast and North Korea.
In Group A, South Africa will take on France, while Mexico and Uruguay are the two strongest teams in the group. The first match of the tournament will be played between Mexico and South Africa in Johannesburg on June 11.
Group B has enabled Argentina some relief because it includes Nigeria, South Korea and Greece. Group C includes the United States, Algeria, Slovenia and England and it would be interesting to see who comes out in flying colors in this group.
Group D, however, is a tough draw that Germany will be tested by Australia, Ghana and Serbia. The Dutch are however in a relatively easy group as Japan, Cameroon and Denmark are in Group E.
Italy find themselves in Group F with New Zealand, Paraguay, and Slovakia, while Group H includes Spain, Honduras, Chile and Switzerland.
